Stong’s Market and STEMS Coming to CC4 in the Health and Technology District

Surrey, BC (October 2024)—Lark Group’s Health and Technology District continues to thrive in the heart of Surrey’s downtown core with the exciting announcement of Stong’s Market and STEMS floral shop in the newest City Centre 4 (CC4) building.

With over 90 years of experience, Stong’s Market is a locally owned grocery store recognized for its exceptional selection and community focus. The new location will provide a comprehensive shopping experience, featuring a wide array of products, including national brands, local suppliers, hot meals to go, an Edibles deli, fresh produce and more.

STEMS floral will open a stand-alone location within the City Centre 4 building, alongside Stong’s. This new shop will focus on fresh flowers, succulents, and giftware, providing the community with an elevated and unique shopping experience.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stong’s and STEMS to the Health and Technology District,” says Kirk Fisher, CEO of the Lark Group. “Their commitment to community and quality aligns perfectly with our vision for CC4 and the broader District. As we continue to expand, we aim to create a vibrant environment where residents and businesses can thrive together.”

The Health and Technology District is rapidly evolving as a hub for innovation and business, attracting high-profile organizations including the UBC Master of Physical Therapy program in City Centre 1, amongst many others soon to be announced. This expansion reflects the growing demand for office and business environments in one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.

In addition to UBC’s initiatives, the Surrey Board of Trade enhanced its presence by launching the Surrey Technology and Skills Centre in partnership with Western Community College this past June. This premier centre fosters research, business innovation, and training programs in health and technology.

The City Centre 4 building, developed by ICT Group and Lark Group, is set for completion in Q4 2025, further solidifying the District’s role in transforming Surrey’s downtown core. For more information, visit www.healthandtechnologydistrict.com.
