Surrey, BC — Surrey’s hospitality landscape continues to grow with the opening of Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey in the Health & Technology District, introducing 189 all-suite accommodations designed to support the region’s expanding healthcare, education, and business sectors.

Developed by ICT Group and Lark Group and operated by Aquilini Group, the extended-stay hotel occupies the top nine floors of the newly completed City Centre 4 building. Located approximately 200 metres from Surrey Memorial Hospital and less than one kilometre from the King George SkyTrain Station, the hotel provides convenient accommodations for visiting healthcare professionals, researchers, students, patients’ families, and business travellers.

The hotel will officially open on March 30, 2026, and is now welcoming guest reservations.

“The opening of Homewood Suites Surrey reflects the continued growth and momentum of Surrey as a centre for healthcare, education, and innovation,” said Kirk Fisher, CEO of Lark Group. “Located within the Health & Technology District and close to Surrey Memorial Hospital, this hotel adds an important hospitality component that supports the professionals, organizations, and visitors contributing to the region’s dynamic economy.”

Homewood Suites is Hilton’s upscale all-suite extended-stay hotel brand, designed to provide guests with home-like accommodations for both short visits and longer stays. The Surrey location features 189 spacious studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, allowing guests to comfortably live and work during their stay.

The hotel also includes a 6,000-square-foot rooftop amenity space featuring BBQ areas, fire pits, and landscaped outdoor gathering spaces designed to create a welcoming environment for guests. Additional amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, EV charging, and pet-friendly accommodations, offering guests flexible options for both short visits and extended stays.

“Expanding our hospitality portfolio in Surrey is an exciting step for Aquilini Hospitality as we continue to grow across Canada,” said Walther Lauffer, Vice President, Hospitality, Aquilini Properties LP. “Homewood Suites offers travelers spacious, comfortable accommodations designed for extended stays while providing convenient access to the many businesses, institutions, and attractions in the surrounding area.”

City Centre 4 is part of the expanding Health & Technology District, a collaborative mixed-use ecosystem bringing together healthcare, education, business, and technology organizations that support British Columbia’s growing innovation economy.

In addition to the hotel, City Centre 4 includes a growing mix of services and amenities supporting the district’s workforce and visitors. Stong’s Market, a BC-owned and operated grocery store located on the ground floor of the building, is already open and serving the community, while STEMS by Stong’s offers locally curated floral arrangements and gifts. Later in 2026, the building will also welcome Maharaja, a new restaurant bringing authentic Indian cuisine to the District.

Educational institutions are also expanding their presence within the area, including Western Community College, which continues to grow its Surrey campus within the City Centre buildings.

Together, these additions strengthen the Health & Technology District as a hub where healthcare professionals, educators, innovators, and businesses converge, supporting Surrey’s continued growth as one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.
